This book stands out from other celebrity books out there.
This book is a very realistic depiction of the onset of schizophrenia, a disease that affects one in 100 people, from hospitalization to recovery. One in 100 is a lot, and it's not something that just happens to someone else. I didn't approach this book lightly based on other people's reviews, but each and every description struck me deeply.
Due to the nature of mental illness, it seems difficult for the person suffering from it to provide accurate information, but I am grateful that this book has been published.
