I immediately installed OSX Yosemite, which was announced on October 17th, 2014, Japan time.

We have been aware that there will always be software that doesn't work or has bugs, and for the past few years we have repeated the cycle of updating the software on the same day and then letting it endure for a few days, or at the latest a few weeks.

Location of incompatible software

In the current Yosemite version, the software is forcibly moved from the Applications folder as "incompatible software."

The software that is targeted is the one that is always running. First I looked to find out where it was located and discovered that it was in a location parallel to the Applications folder, as shown below.

Directly under the hard disk, in a location parallel to the Applications folder.
