A way of thinking that will help you overcome the 100 million yen barrier. I discovered this book in Amazon's Owner's Library and thought it would be useful as a way to reflect on things and think about them on a business-by-business basis.
I was able to organize all of these things together in a way that was good for me: things that I do unconsciously, things that I only noticed when they were put into words, things that I pretended to understand but didn't, and new discoveries.
It's perfect to have such a comprehensive list so that you can organize your thoughts without missing anything. I'd like to make more excerpts than usual so that I can look back on them anytime.
excerpt
- The 10,000 hour rule
- Experience as a salaryman or part-time worker is a valuable asset
- When you start your own business, you have to do everything yourself. Attracting customers, product development, clerical work, sales, collecting money, accounting, etc. You have to do everything, starting from sticking stamps on the package.
- People who are not doing well will become unstable.
- Even if you fail, you keep improving it over and over again, so your accuracy improves, and that accuracy is just converted into money.
- Continue creating business high moments
- When I do corporate consulting, I often do it at hot springs. The body and mind are linked, so first I relax my body, give my brain a rest, and then I can start coming up with ideas.
- Please try to think things through from your own perspective. Don't jump on information that others recommend or that seems appealing.
- The habit of thinking, "What is important to me right now?", is to use yourself as the axis, and if you have trouble attracting customers, learn how to attract customers, and if you have trouble selling, learn how to sell.
- Color Bath Effect
- It is only after a child is born that an antenna for information about the child is installed in the brain and begins to leap into the eyes.
- No matter how much they do, successful people always think, "There must be more I can do," or "I want to do more," whereas inexperienced people are satisfied, thinking, "I did it again today!" or "I've accomplished this much!"
- The lie that "multiple deployments will diversify risk"
- Reduce fixed costs to the minimum
- Stability is an illusion
- A restaurant without a storefront
- There are only two ways to spend money: "Consumption" and "Investment"
- Becoming extremely stingy
- When it comes to investment, spend money without hesitation.
- Time is both an investment and a consumption
- Include break times in your schedule
- People who don't pay on time lose credibility.
- Ignoring also destroys trust.
- Money is ultimately a flow.
- The biggest thing you should avoid is making payments that rely on the receipt of money.
- Savings balance = remaining life expectancy after independence
- When you are an office worker, you are provided with a commuter pass and even transportation to business meetings, so it is hard to notice, but when you become independent, the expenses are much more than you expected. Choosing a 150 yen juice and deciding whether or not to buy it is a decision, and whether or not to spend 1 million yen on advertising is also a decision. Buying a business with 100 million yen is also a decision, and whether or not to buy a company with 1 billion yen is also a decision.
- Don't put off making decisions
- Only those who can make the decision, "Even if I'm busy, I'm going to do it now!" can change their lives.
- The higher the stage, the bigger the decision you have to make.
- The speed and boldness of your decisions will change your life at dizzying speed.
- It's good to have a business that is incomplete. Experience every stage at once.
- When you start a business, you get paid for results, not for the time you put in.
- By setting a short deadline in advance and pushing yourself, you will be able to show your true potential, which you would not be able to show on your own.
- Concentration = quality
- Humans can only concentrate for about an hour at a time.
- Know when you're most focused
- Change "everyday being chased" to "everyday chasing"
- If you're not first class, you won't even be criticized.
- The moment you feel scared, say "YES" without hesitation.
- NO destroys your future
- Jump in
- Get out of your comfort zone
- The motivation switch for "your own unique style"
- Refrain from acting, speaking, or making decisions when you are feeling negative emotions.
- Let go of the emphasis on quality
- Same amount of action as industry pioneers
- The "10,000 hour rule" ultimately comes from this idea of "quantity."
