It was amazing to hear a theoretical explanation of why Japanese people are not good at English.
・Japanese is a language of reasoning. It has many homonyms.
・There are few pronunciations to begin with.
These are the two reasons why Japanese people are not good at English. Because there are so few sounds in Japanese, it is difficult to use many different sounds like in English. On the other hand, because there are so few sounds, there are so few patterns, and so there are many words with the same sound but different meanings. The ability to accurately grasp the context while figuring this out is a unique skill of Japanese people.
Taking the above into consideration, the purpose is to learn correct katakana English.
Can I have…? (Please give me something) is “Kenayabu”
"Do you have...?" is "Juyabu"
"Do you want to...?" is "Juwana"
"I want you to..." is "aiwanyuru"
"Do you mind if I...?" is "Jumaindefai"
"Can you take our picture?" is "kenyuteikawapekucho"
